Three of our projects have been recognised as the best in their categories at recent award ceremonies; all of them completed during the pandemic and all to the highest of standards, on time and to budget. Space Park, Leicester, Moorways Sports Village, Derby and Thames Park School, Essex have won accolades for their quality, teamwork, use of technology and sustainability. Thames Park School in Essex won the Best Use of Hybrid Technology category at the Off Site Awards. Procured through the DfE's Modern Methods of Construction Framework, the school is an example of how we exceeded the Government's Construction Playbook standards and the award is the result of hard work and teamwork by everyone involved with the project. Moorways Sports Village, Derby was acknowledged as the best project in the East Midlands, winning Project of the Year at the East Midlands Property Awards. The £42 million centre features international standard facilities and brings an exciting leisure offer to the city. Space Park, Leicester scooped the Sustainable Project of the Year acolade at the East Midlands Property Awards. The project has taken a contaminated brownfield site, in a flood risk zone and turned it into a community of industry students and academics working together to drive growth in the UK space and space-enabled sectors.
