Bowmer + Kirkland partner with Derbyshire FA to support grassroots football

Bowmer + Kirkland has announced a new sponsorship partnership with Derbyshire County FA in support of local grassroots football across the county.

The partnership will see Bowmer + Kirkland support a range of key initiatives, helping to expand opportunities for players, coaches and volunteers, while contributing to the continued growth of the game at all levels throughout Derbyshire.

This collaboration builds on Bowmer + Kirkland’s longstanding relationship with The Football Association, established through the company’s delivery of St George’s Park. As the FA’s national football centre and a hub for elite performance and coach development, St George’s Park stands as a landmark project in the company’s portfolio.

A key focus of the partnership will be support for Derbyshire FA’s Coaches Community Programme, which engages more than 4,000 grassroots coaches across the county. The programme provides access to workshops, qualifications, mentoring and networking opportunities, playing a vital role in developing coaching standards and creating positive football experiences at grassroots level.

Liam Rooney, Chief Executive Officer at Derbyshire County FA said: “We are delighted to welcome Bowmer + Kirkland as a partner. Their strong local presence, combined with a proven legacy within the national game, makes them an excellent fit for Derbyshire FA. Their support will help us strengthen our Coaches Community Programme and continue raising standards across grassroots football.”

Sarah Millington, Group PR Manager at Bowmer + Kirkland, said: “As a Derbyshire-headquartered business, we are proud to be investing in initiatives that make a meaningful difference within our local communities. Our longstanding relationship with the FA, including the construction of St George’s Park, makes this partnership particularly significant. We are delighted to support Derbyshire FA and its Coaches Community Programme as it continues to develop the next generation of coaches and participants across the county.”
