The Department for Education (DfE) has confirmed that Bowmer + Kirkland (B+K) has successfully secured a place on the Construction Framework 2025, the sixth-generation DfE Framework for the business.
B+K joins nine other main contractors in High Value Band Lot 1 North and Lot 2 South for projects over £12m, together with six main contractors in Low Value Band Lot 7 London, Lot 8 South East and Lot 9 South West for projects valued between £4.4m and £12m.
Speaking about the success, Framework Director, Chris Arno said: “We are delighted to have been appointed onto the DfE CF25 Framework, it is a privilege to continue to support the DfE in delivering much needed, safe and sustainable educational spaces for the next generation.”
Bowmer + Kirkland Chairman, Jack Kirkland said: “Securing a place on the DfE’s CF25 is a fantastic achievement and I am grateful to the DfE for their continued trust in Bowmer + Kirkland. I am extremely proud of all the buildings we deliver for our clients, but building schools for the next generation is a particular privilege.”
To date, Bowmer + Kirkland has completed 91 schools as part of the Construction Framework, and previous work with the DfE, at a value of £1.5bn.
