Bowmer + Kirkland opens Leeds office

Tier one contractor, Bowmer + Kirkland’s (B+K) North Midlands + Yorkshire region has opened a new office in Leeds, strengthening the company’s presence in Yorkshire.

B+K is delivering major developments in Leeds, including significant build-to-rent (BTR) schemes at Whitehall Riverside and Kirkstall Road for Glenbrook Properties. In addition, the company is working on projects across Yorkshire for the Department for Education and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.

The Leeds office is led by two members of the region’s senior leadership team, both with wide experience across the Yorkshire region. Construction Director, Andy Hurcomb has more than 40 years of experience delivering projects in Yorkshire, he played a key role in notable Leeds projects, including the Leeds LIFT programme and multiple developments for the University of Leeds. Andy has worked across all key sectors successfully delivering over £1bn of projects in Yorkshire for both public and private sector clients, with specific framework experience in DfE, MoJ, MoD and Healthcare together with national and regional multi-sector framework delivery.  

Senior Contracts Manager, Lianne Lawson brings extensive experience across operations and project delivery, having worked for tier-one contractors with clients such as the University of Sheffield, the BBC, Hilton hotels, plus extensive framework experience on DfE, and procure 21 and 22. Her strong relationships across the local supply chain are already supporting continued regional growth.
