A commercial office scheme which we built for Ashall Properties has been voted the Best in the North by the Local Authority Building Control Excellence Awards. One Centre Square in Middlesbrough, is a £22m Grade A office scheme which aims to regenerate the town and bring employers, jobs and investment into the centre of Middlesbrough. The scheme is also a contender for three other awards, including the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)'s regional award for Planning Excellence 2020. The LABC awards particularly recognise technical excellence and the people involved in the construction. Our team along with Ashall Projects, Middlesbrough Council’s Local Authority Building Control Team and Seymour Architecture were all commended. LABC Chief Executive Lorna Stimpson said: “ I firmly believe that one of the best ways to see further good work is to praise building excellence and publicly acknowledge companies, designers, site managers, trades people who go the extra mile because of the pride they have in their work.”
