Share project
This is an exciting new Student Accommodation building on First Way, Wembley. The development consists of 678 student accommodation units, commercial office space and a new campus for the University College of Football Business.
The project is a modular build with the student accommodation aspect of the project consisting of 438 pre-manufactured modules that are made in the UK. The super structure consists of a steel frame with composite metal deck transfer slabs and cores on piled foundations with structural steels embedded into the pile caps.
The steel cores are required to be fire protected prior to the modular installation and this is being achieved by using a fire board.
The project also consists of academic teaching space for the University College of Football Business and 4 floors of CAT A office space.
The façades of the building is brickwork from ground floor to 1st floor and a terracotta rainscreen cladding system which is being installed from mast climbers.
