An impressive PBSA development, split over 3 blocks in the all new Island Quarter area of Nottingham.
The 12 storey 693 bed student living accommodation welcomed its first residents in September 2024. Designed by DAY Architectural as part of the wider Island Quarter masterplan for the city of Nottingham, The accommodation includes a combination of accessible studio and cluster flats consisting of three to seven bedrooms with shared kitchen, dining and living rooms. Ancillary office, common rooms, bicycle provision, laundry room, plant rooms, refuse storage space, external landscaping to surround and all associated external works were provided.
The building has been constructed on CFA piles with an in-situ concrete frame with a combination of brick slip and rainscreen cladding on SFS with glazed curtain walling and windows. The bathrooms are a prefinished bathroom pod manufactured off site.
