Six, Centre Square, is a four-storey, 40,000 sq ft, Grade A office building and the third scheme we have completed for Ashall Projects in this redevelopment of the centre of Middlesbrough.
The development has brought much needed jobs to the Tees Valley town and millions of pounds flooded into North-East businesses during the construction of Six, Centre Square.
Contracts worth more than £4.8 million were awarded to a dozen companies based within 50 miles of the construction site.
The building has a simple rectangular floorplate with core to the western end which creates large efficient and flexible open plan areas ready for a variety of potential fit outs. The double-height entrance is prominent entrance as the building is approached from centre Square.
Externally a dark brickwork frame to ground floor contrasts with the iridescent cladding and glazing to the upper three storeys, combined with the protruding fins to north elevation, the cladding interacts with the changing light to ensure the building looks stunning from every angle.
