The retail units and restaurants are typically single storey structures with a front customer entrance and a rear service and fire escape route. The buildings range in size from small kiosks to large anchor units and are connected by streets and spaces that provide substantial pedestrian access routes and circulation.

There are provisions for a safe, yet compelling children’s play area, which caters for all ages with activity zones for different age groups.

To ensure the smooth running of the centre, there will be a strong presence from the McArthur Glen management, maintenance and security staff. A large centrally located centre management facility will be provided and will include conference and meeting room provisions, as well as staff facilities.

Toilets and baby changing facilities will be distributed across the development in convenient yet discreet locations together with other customer factilities such as ATMs and cycle parking.
