Kingfisher Court, Bristol

Share project

Kingfisher Court will provide highly sustainable, net zero carbon in operation accommodation for students and is being delivered for Canada Life Asset Management in partnership with the University of West England, Bristol (UWE).

The purpose-built accommodation is located close to UWE’s Frenchay campus and will provide 330 student bedrooms; rising from five storeys to nine storeys in a spiralling pattern the accommodation is arranged around a central courtyard, which includes communal and study spaces and will be a stand-out building just north of the city.

The development will include a central landscaped courtyard area which is designed to act as the social heart of the scheme and provide outdoor recreational space. The plans also include planting and soft landscaping in pursuit of creating habitats for local wildlife to help achieve Biodiversity Net Gain.
