This temperature-controlled distribution, production and warehouse facility was built for AMFresh UK, a world leader in fresh, natural and healthy food.
Early procurement was essential to achieve the contract programme with extended lead-in times on most specialist sub-contractor packages. This was made possible thanks to a collaborative approach taken from the start and the two-stage ‘open book’ approach taken in conjunction with the cost management team.
The chilled warehouse has a structural steel multi-span portal frame with a height of 17m to the parapet and provided a minimal gross internal floor area of 302,435 sq ft. The offices provide both open plan and cellular spaces.
